There are lots of GOOD reasons to pay Club Dues!
From the bylaws
2.02 All applications for or invited memberships shall not be subjected to discrimination.
2.03 Each Full Member shall be entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to a vote of the members.
11.01 All Full Members shall pay a annual membership fee as set forth by the Board of Directors. Said fee to be an amount of not less than $35.00.
11.02 Any member over the age of 65 may be exempt from paying dues as deemed necessary by the membership.
11.03 Any member performing technical support to repeaters, may be exempt from paying dues as deemed necessary by the membership.
PAYMENT OF DUES
Dues shall be payable in advance on the first day of May in each fiscal year.
Dues of a new member shall be prorated from the first day of the month in which such new member is accepted into membership, for the remainder of the fiscal year.
Classes of Members
2.01 The corporation shall have three (3) classes of members. The designation of such classes and the qualifications and rights of members of such classes shall be as follows:
(1) A Full Member must be a natural person who holds and Amateur Radio License recognized by the Federal Communications Commission. A Full Member shall be entitled to all
privileges available to any member of the corporation.
Only Full Members shall have voting rights or hold elective offices.
(a) For the duration of the initials period, March 21, 1978 to November 1, 1978 the foregoing requirement of an Amateur Radio License is waived for voting privileges and holding
elective offices, but does not allow the issuance of a full membership certificate until and Amateur License is obtained.
(2) Any member of the immediate family of a Full Member may be a Family Member. A Family Member shall have all privileges of Full Members except
a) they shall not have any right to vote and b) they shall not hold any elective office.
(3) Any person or group of persons interested in Amateur Radio may be and Associate Member. An Associate Member shall have all privileges of Full Members except
a) they shall not have the right to vote and
b) they shall not hold any elective office
